Expanding in 2026 + A Free Tool That Keeps Me Centered
Feldman Group updates and my new Mindful Moments app
I’m excited to announce that The Feldman Group is expanding in 2026! We’ll be bringing on brand-new agents and training them from the ground up.
Building the Right Team
After 20 years in recruitment, organizational design, and training across healthcare, hospitality, and IT, I’m applying those skills to grow my own real estate practice. I’ll be bringing on a couple new agents in 2026 and developing training programs that account for different learning styles; a process that’s also sharpened my own methods and helped clarify what drives successful client relationships in my own business.
Until now, I’ve only collaborated with seasoned professionals like my business partner Bruce Robinson, who’s been a top-selling agent in the DC Metro area for decades. This expansion into training new agents represents a new chapter while maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Market Insights Evolving
To better serve my growing client base, I’m transitioning the comprehensive Market Monday reports from weekly to monthly. As always, if you need a deeper dive into your specific neighborhood or situation, just let me know.
My Approach Hasn’t Changed
Real estate isn’t about selling; it’s about relationships. That’s how I worked as a recruiter, and it’s how I work as your trusted real estate advisor. Most of my business comes from referrals because we focus on advising you so you can make informed decisions, while we manage the process, handle the marketing, and negotiate on your behalf - as your fiduciary.
At the end of the day, my job is representing your goals and wishes, not making a sale.
Mindset Matters
I’ve long believed that to do this right, you need the right mindset. For me, that starts with gratitude. When I stay consistent with my morning gratitude practice, I feel like a better advisor, friend, husband, father, and human being.
Recently I revisited a practice I’ve tried (and failed at) many times over the last decade: handwriting your gratitude 25 times in a row. It’s a form of neurolinguistic programming, reinforced with touch feedback. It can be repetitive and a little painful, but it really works in focusing your mindset.
My biggest struggle was finding time in the mornings with four kids running around. Keeping a notebook by the bed didn’t work. So, I built a quick iPhone/iPad app. On the iPhone, you can use your finger to write, but I recommend a captive stylus; you can get a pack for about $10 to make it feel more like writing with a pen.
I added some light gamification to help with daily streaks, and a built-in meditation timer with guided breathing patterns and visual animations. It’s simple, but it helps clear your thoughts before and after writing.
At some point, I’ll add HealthKit integration so you can get points for meditation too. If you try it and have a favorite breathing pattern I didn’t include, or notice a bug, I’d love your feedback.
It’s free in the App Store if you want to check it out: Mindful Moments.
